Pune: Veteran leader of the Ambedkarite movement and long-serving vice president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Maharashtra, Mahesh Shinde, has been appointed as the party's new state spokesperson.
This decision was officially conveyed to Shinde by NCP state president and MP Sunil Tatkare. Known for his eloquence, subject matter expertise, and analytical mindset, Shinde has been a prominent figure within the party, and his appointment comes as recognition of his abilities to articulate the party’s official positions and views on key matters,
For the past 40-45 years, Mahesh Shinde has been deeply involved in the Ambedkarite movement, playing a pivotal role in advancing its cause. His vast experience and contribution to social causes have been a strong foundation for his work as NCP's state vice president.
He has been an instrumental figure in the party's state-level initiatives and has built a solid reputation for his leadership across Maharashtra.
