Pune: The Pune Police have conducted a technical assessment of the Kalyani Nagar accident, focusing on the Porsche car's speed at the time of the crash and the impact after hitting the two-wheeler of the victims.

This crash impact assessment was completed with the assistance of a retired Army officer who is an forensic expert. The report will help police to establish the impact of Porsche car, allegedly driven by the minor suspect, on the bike of victims involved in the accident with the injuries sustained by the two deceased IT professionals.

The car allegedly driven under the influence of alcohol by the 17-year-old son of a builder crashed into the bike in the early hours of May 19, killing IT professionals Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta in Kalyani Nagar area of Pune city.

The police have recreated the accident scenario to determine the car's speed at the time of the crash and the subsequent impact. A retired military officer examined the accident-damaged car, which was seized and held at the Yerawada police station. Through this analysis, the impact of both the vehicles on each other, the positioning of the car and the injuries sustained by the deceased have been correlated.

Additionally, the autopsy reports of the deceased computer engineer and his female companion were re-examined. It was found that after the collision, the female who was riding pillion was thrown 15 to 20 feet into the air and landed on the car's windshield.
