The exact cause of the dispute is still unclear, but the builder’s aggressive actions have raised concerns about safety and law enforcement in the area.

The incident came to light when journalist Saurabh Koratkar shared footage of the builder’s actions on his social media account, ‘X.’

In his post, Koratkar described how the builder, identified by locals as Yashwant Nimhan, attacked the residents, swore at them in front of women and children, and threatened them with violence.

The video shows the builder carrying a baseball bat and stick in his vehicle’s trunk, and he reportedly attempted to run over some residents with a JCB machine.

The situation became so intense that local security personnel had to intervene to prevent further violence. According to Koratkar, the residents endured the builder’s abusive language and physical aggression without retaliating, even as women were subjected to foul language and men were struck with sticks.

Koratkar’s post tagged several key political figures and the Pune Police, including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Nana Patole, Supriya Sule, and Chandrakant Patil, calling for swift and appropriate action against the builder.

The post has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many condemning the builder’s actions and calling for justice.
