According to the branch officer Manoj Bhosale's complaint, on August 30, Sagar Navnath Thorat, a regular customer, visited the bank with his wife and daughter to correct his wife's name in her bank account.

After Bhosale verified their documents, he referred them to another colleague for further action. However, Sagar Thorat, who appeared intoxicated, began loudly demanding immediate action and threatened to damage bank property if his demands were not met.

Assistant Manager Ganesh Kadakane intervened to de-escalate the situation but was met with verbal abuse and threats. Thorat threatened Kadakane, saying, "Come outside, I will deal with you; I will break your hands and legs."
