Pune: The admission process for engineering and technology degree courses commenced on Sunday (July 14), putting an end to the anticipation of students eagerly awaiting the details following the announcement of the 'MHT-CET' exam results.

Students can apply for B.E. and B.Tech courses until July 24. The provisional merit list will be announced on July 27, with the final merit list following on August 2.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) released the results of the 'MHT-CET' exam on June 16. The CET Cell oversees the admission process for both undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.

Typically, the admission schedule is announced shortly after the CET results are published. However, this year, students and parents experienced a longer wait.

Applicants who register online after July 24, confirm their applications after July 25, and complete document verification will be eligible for admission to non-CAP (Centralized Admission Process) seats.

Admission Timeline:

  • Online Registration and Document Uploading: Until July 24 (5 PM)

  • Document Verification and Application Confirmation: July 15 to 25 (5 PM)

  • Provisional Merit List Announcement: July 27

  • Objections on Provisional Merit List: July 28 to 30

  • Final Merit List Announcement: August 2
