Bhausaheb Bhoir Declares His Run for Chinchwad Assembly Seat
Chinchwad: Bhausaheb Bhoir, a former corporator and a prominent leader from Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has officially announced his intention to contest the Chinchwad Assembly elections.
Bhoir, who has been associated with Ajit Pawar, made his announcement in a press conference, indicating that he will confirm his party affiliation at a public rally on October 2.
Addressing the media, Bhoir made it clear that he would not succumb to the pressures of dynasty politics or mob mentality, which have been influencing political dynamics in recent times.
He expressed his dissatisfaction with how the NCP has treated him, hinting at his readiness to make a bold decision. "The doors to all political parties are open for me," he remarked, suggesting that he might consider joining another party if necessary.
Bhoir revealed that his preparations for the Chinchwad elections have been underway since June, and he has already connected with over one lakh voters in the region.
His commitment to contesting the election is firm, and he believes the time has come to take the next step in his political career.
This announcement comes shortly after other former corporators from Ajit Pawar’s NCP publicly expressed their interest in running for the Chinchwad seat.
Bhoir’s declaration has also sparked speculation about potential internal divisions within Ajit Pawar’s camp. While he did not explicitly address any internal conflicts, his comments suggest a growing rift within the faction.
Furthermore, Bhoir stated that the NCP has neglected him over the years, and he now feels the need to assert himself in the upcoming elections.
His statement about having the option to join any party indicates his willingness to explore new political opportunities, possibly as an independent candidate or under a different party's banner.
