Pune: In the latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 results announced on August 12 by Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, COEP Tech has been ranked 77th among the top engineering institutions in India, with a total score of 47.89 out of 100.
COEP Tech participated in the NIRF 2024 under the Engineering category, competing against an increasing number of institutions each year.
Despite an improvement in its overall score compared to the previous year—rising from 46.89 to 47.89—COEP Tech's national ranking has slipped from 73rd to 77th.
This decline is attributed to the growing number of participating institutions, which has intensified the competition.
Among the five institutions from Maharashtra that made it to the top 100, COEP Tech is one of the few "State Funded" institutions to achieve this distinction.
The list predominantly features centrally funded IITs, NITs, Universities, and Institutes of Eminence, which rank higher than COEP Tech. Despite the stiff competition, COEP Tech continues to hold its ground as a leading engineering institution in the state.
