Pune: Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called on BJP workers to actively participate in campaigning, emphasizing the importance of combating fake narratives with the truth.

Speaking at the BJP Executive Meeting in Pune's Balewadi, Fadnavis likened the fake narratives to modern-day Ravana that must be countered directly. He stressed the necessity of immediate action without waiting for orders and warned against self-sabotage.

Fadnavis said, today Hindus and Shiv devotees are being called terrorists. If we don't wake up today, we won't get a chance to wake up later. There's no need to feel guilty about our Hindutva. There is only a difference of two lakh votes, but since the announcement of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, two lakh votes have already increased.

"In today's times, the modern-day Ravana is the fake narrative. We need to pierce this Ravana with an arrow. Hence, we are creating an ecosystem to counter the fake narrative with a direct narrative.

Everyone needs to contribute to this. We have to counter lies with the truth. So, don't wait for orders. Get on the field and bat as needed. Just don't get hit wicket, don't score a self-goal," Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis appealed to the workers to take to the field for campaigning.

He also hinted that sometimes while speaking about others, one ends up talking about themselves and has to spend days explaining.

Nowadays, there are more advisors than workers. If leaders make some mistakes, the workers should keep it to themselves. Don't poison the minds of those who work loyally by speaking negatively. It's important to see who stays with us even when we get fewer seats.

We will not rest until we secure nearly two crore votes. Don't ask who will be the Chief Minister now. The Chief Minister will be from the Mahayuti. The only goal is to bring the Mahayuti government, said Devendra Fadnavis.
