The Palkhis (palanquins) of Saint Tukaram Maharaj and Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj were recently bid farewell by Pune residents. After reaching Hadapsar, the palanquins head in different directions, with Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s procession moving towards Saswad through Dive Ghat. Once the procession reached Saswad, Dive Ghat was reopened for regular travel.

During this period, at night, several youths were seen clinging dangerously to an ambulance traveling from Dive Ghat to Hadapsar. The ambulance was provided for the devotees, but the video shows young men hitching a ride on the back of the speeding ambulance.

Reports suggest that the youths resorted to this dangerous travel method due to the unavailability of other vehicles via Hadapsar.
