Dilip Walse Patil Files Nomination for Ambegaon Assembly Election from NCP

Pune: Maharashtra's Cooperative Minister, Dilip Walse Patil, officially filed his nomination for the upcoming Ambegaon Assembly election as a candidate from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

He submitted his nomination papers to Returning Officer Govind Shinde in Ghodegaon.

Joining him during the nomination process were Minister of State and former Member of Parliament Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Purva Walse Patil, former MLA Popatrao Gawde, Arun Gire, Kiran Tai Walse Patil, and Subhash Moramare.

Supporters of Walse Patil, gathered outside the Tehsil office, cheered and chanted slogans, expressing their confidence in his victory.

The submission followed a public rally held in Manchar, after which Walse Patil arrived at the Tehsil office in Ghodegaon to complete the formalities.

So far, six candidates have officially filed their nominations for the Ambegaon Assembly seat.

Among the contenders are independent candidates Athar Abbas alias Raju Inamdar, Laxman Mahadu Nikam, and Mangesh Bapu Shinde, along with Ashok Dattatraya Kale from the Indian National Congress.

The race for the Ambegaon Assembly seat is heating up, with 40 candidates having collected a total of 76 nomination forms by this point.

As the election draws near, the Ambegaon constituency is poised to witness an intense contest, with major political parties and independent candidates vying for the seat.

Earlier, Vijay Aadari, the head of the tribal wing of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, openly opposed the candidacy of Dilip Walse Patil during the press event.

Aadari claimed that he was invited to the meeting under the pretext of party discussions but was surprised to find a different agenda being pushed.
