Pune: A doctor in Pimpri-Chinchwad threatened a real estate agent with a fake pistol. This incident occurred on Sunday (July 7) around 1 PM in front of Nana Park in Masulkar Colony, Morwadi.
Irfan Shamsuddin Chaudhary (34), a resident of Audumber Nest, Morwadi, Pimpri, filed a complaint at Pimpri police station. Based on the complaint, Dr. Sachin Shashikant Bodhani (49), a resident of Empire Estate, Chinchwad, has been charged under sections 115(2), 352, and 351(2)(3) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the police, complainant Irfan Chaudhary, a real estate agent, was waiting for his nephew in front of Nana Park around 1 PM on Sunday.
Dr. Sachin Bodhani was passing by in his Nano car (MH 14 MH 4481) when a traffic jam occurred. Dr. Bodhani approached Chaudhary, accusing him of causing the traffic jam. He then brandished a fake pistol at Chaudhary, threatening him.
Following this, Dr. Bodhani assaulted Chaudhary with kicks and punches, hurled abuses, and threatened to kill him before fleeing the scene. The police are investigating the incident further.
Recently, a doctor associated with Jeevan Rakshak Hospital in Wagholi, with the help of two accomplices, attacked a man on over a financial dispute. Police have filed a case against the three suspects.
The victim, identified as Pritesh Prakash Bafna (36), resides in Wagholi. The accused include Dr. Vivek Gupta from Jeevan Rakshak Hospital, Ajay Sawant, and Prashant Dhamdhere (full names and addresses unknown).
Gupta, along with his accomplices, had gone to Bafna's house due to a disagreement over financial transactions. They allegedly verbally abused Bafna's parents and wife, blocked his car with theirs, and pelted stones at his vehicle.
