Pune: A shocking incident has emerged in which trustees of a college allegedly threatened a female finance manager at her residence for not adhering to their directives regarding fee collection.

The incident has prompted a police investigation following a formal complaint filed by the victim at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station.

The complainant, a 32-year-old woman responsible for overseeing the operations of the Union Biblical Seminary Society's college in Bibwewadi, reported that trustees Dr. Subhash Dongardive (61) and Devid Katariya (63) visited her office in June 2024.

During this visit, Dr. Dongardive insisted that fees collected from students, typically received through checks or online payments, should now be taken exclusively in cash, which she explained was against government regulations.

Upon her refusal to comply, Dr. Dongardive became upset and left the office. Subsequently, on June 10, 2024, at approximately 7 PM, both trustees entered her home without invitation.

They allegedly threatened her, stating she must collect college fees in cash and join their team. The trustees promised a salary increase and promotion if she complied with their demands, while warning her of dire consequences, including dismissal, if she did not obey.
