Pune: Tata AutoComp Systems in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Khadki, District 313 inaugurated a seven-day free artificial limb fitment camp at Pune.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the Dagdusheth Ganpati Decoration Section, opposite Sarasbaug, Pune, and was attended by Arvind Goel, Chairman of Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd; Arihant Mehta, President of Pinnacle Industries; Ritika Mehta, Director of Pinnacle Industries; and Dr. Suniti Goel, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Khadki, District 313.
The camp aims to transform the lives of over 400 differently-abled individuals from Pune and neighboring regions by providing advanced prosthetic limbs and other assistive devices.
Arvind Goel stated, “This artificial limb fitment camp is an extension of our efforts to support those facing mobility challenges. We are dedicated to ensuring that every individual we touch is empowered to lead a life of dignity and independence.”
Dr. Suniti Goel added, “This initiative is designed to serve the economically weaker sections by providing life-changing support at no cost. Our focus is to help beneficiaries regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.”
The camp, organized in association with the Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) Indore Centre, will run from 24th to 29th September 2024. It will provide free fittings of artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, and other assistive devices, helping beneficiaries achieve maximum mobility and comfort.
The camp is also supported by the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganapati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal, two prominent Pune-based organizations known for their community welfare programs.
