Pune: In the ongoing centralized online admission process for 11th grade in junior colleges within Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas, 13,273 students have been allotted seats in the third regular round.

Students selected in this round have until Wednesday (July 24) to confirm their admission.

With a total of 119,705 seats available across junior colleges, 100,495 students registered online. So far, 35,874 students have confirmed their admissions.

In this third round, 46,598 students were eligible for 65,154 available seats, and 13,273 students received allotments. Of these, 5,143 students were granted their first-choice college, 2,673 their second choice, and 1,582 their third choice.

Students must confirm their admission by completing the necessary processes, including uploading documents, visiting the allotted college, and confirming or rejecting the admission by 6 PM on Wednesday. Those who do not wish to take the allotted seat can wait for the next round.

Registration for new students and Part 1 of the application will continue in the upcoming round. Junior colleges have until 8 PM on Wednesday to update the admission status on the online portal. Details of available seats for the next round will be published on Thursday (July 25).

Recently, the second regular round of admissions for the 338 higher secondary schools and junior colleges in the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporation areas concluded. In this round, 18,723 students were allotted colleges, and 8,229 students confirmed their admissions.

About 38890 students secured admission in the first round of the centralized admission process. Of these, 29,840 students were admitted to their first-choice colleges.

This year, the eligibility marks for admission have notably crossed the 90 per cent threshold, with increased cut-offs in Arts and Commerce streams, while Science stream cut-offs saw varied changes.
