FYJC Merit List: 38000 students to secure admission in colleges by July 1

Pune: The first merit list for 11th admissions at junior colleges across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad will be announced on June 27. Students who find their names on this list are required to secure admission in their respective colleges by July 1.

This initial list will determine the fate of aspiring students who have applied under the quota, with 3,814 seats already confirmed under various categories.

A total of 343 junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are participating in the centralized online admission process, offering a combined total of 1,20,265 seats.

Among these, 93,356 seats fall under central admissions (CAP), while 26,909 seats are reserved under different quota categories. Currently, 70,282 students have registered for central admissions, anticipating their placement based on merit and quota allocations.

The release of the first merit list marks a crucial step in the admission process, ensuring transparency and accountability in the selection of deserving candidates. Students selected in this list must adhere to the designated admission procedures at their preferred colleges.

Those who may not secure their first preference can consider subsequent rounds or make adjustments as per their preferences through the admission portal.

The 11th admission portal provides students with the flexibility to confirm, reject, or cancel their admissions based on their preferences and availability.

As of now, 3,814 students have successfully secured admissions under various quota categories, reflecting the diverse options available under management, administrative, and minority quotas.
