Pune: Early this morning, a massive fire broke out in Joshi Wada, located near Panch Haud Tower in Ghorpade Peth, Pune.

The fire, which started around 3:30 AM, quickly spread and engulfed five houses and a small shop, causing significant damage and panic in the area. Authorities responded promptly, and no casualties or injuries were reported.

The Pune Fire Department immediately dispatched two fire trucks and two water tankers from their headquarters upon receiving the alert. Additional fire trucks were sent from the Kasba, Erandwane, and Gangadham stations, totaling five fire trucks and two water tankers.

Firefighters worked diligently, dousing the flames from all directions, ultimately bringing the blaze under control.

While the fire has resulted in the destruction of property, it did not cause any loss of life. Firefighters also safely removed two gas cylinders from the premises, preventing a potential explosion.
