Pune: In a shocking and gruesome incident, the dismembered body of an unidentified woman has been discovered in the riverbed near Kharadi, Pune.

In the wee hours of Monday, August 26, the police discovered the woman's torso, which was missing its head, arms, and legs. It is estimated that the victim is in the age range of 18 to 30 years.

Construction work is currently underway by Jenny Light Construction near the site where the torso was found. The police, upon receiving the information, arrived at the scene and uncovered the horrific details of the crime. The identity of the victim has not yet been determined, and the motive behind the murder remains unclear.

The assailant appears to have used a sharp weapon to sever the woman's head, arms, and legs in a bid to destroy evidence. The mutilated torso was then disposed of in the Mula-Mutha riverbed.

Police at the Chandan Nagar Police Station have filed a murder case against an unidentified person, and they are stepping up their investigation to find the culprit.

Recently, in Mundhwa area, a shocking incident occurred when Mallikarjun Sharanappa Gaddar, the brother-in-law of 24-year-old Kavita Nagraj Gaddar, strangled her to death. A 7-year-old girl who was present at the time gave the police vital information that led to the discovery of the crime.

The incident took place on the afternoon of August 14th at around 3:30 PM. Assistant Police Inspector Sanjay Siddheshwar Mali from Mundhwa Police Station filed a complaint regarding the incident.
