Hadapsar: Neighbor Discovers Woman Dead in Pool of Blood, Husband at Large

Pune: A horrifying murder in the Shinde Vasti area of Hadapsar came to light on October 5 morning when a neighbor, trying to inform a woman about the water supply, found her dead in her home.

The woman, identified as Aarti Debilal Saren (35), was discovered lying in a pool of blood inside her residence. The police have registered a case against her husband, Debilal Lakshmanchandra Saren, who is suspected to have fled to West Bengal after the crime.

The incident occurred sometime between the morning of October 4 and the early hours of October 5. According to the police, the victim and her husband had been tenants in a house owned by Dattatraya Shankar Chaudhari in Shinde Vasti.

Debilal, a daily wage laborer, allegedly attacked his wife Aarti during a domestic dispute, using a weapon to strike her on the head and body, causing her fatal injuries.

On the morning of October 5, water was supplied to the area, and when no one from the Saren household came to fill water, a concerned neighbor went to check on Aarti.

To her shock, she found Aarti lying motionless in a pool of blood. The neighbor immediately informed the police, and senior officers rushed to the scene.

Deputy Commissioner of Police R. Raja, Assistant Commissioner Ashwini Rakh, and Senior Inspector Santosh Pandhare visited the site to collect evidence and investigate the case. Assistant Police Inspector Sutar is leading the investigation.

The police suspect that Debilal fled to his native village in West Bengal after committing the murder. A search is underway to locate and apprehend the accused.
