Given the heavy rain forecast and the release of water from the dam, authorities have advised residents to stay updated on the weather conditions and avoid unnecessary travel near the riverbanks or flood-prone zones.

Local disaster management teams are on standby to respond to emergencies, while citizens are being requested to remain cautious and prepared for any potential weather-related challenges.

Pune is geared up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's much-anticipated public rally scheduled for Thursday (September 26) at the S.P. College grounds. If the rains intensify as predicted, it could dampen public enthusiasm and significantly reduce attendance at the rally.
