Pune: To address the persistent delays of the Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express, the Pune railway division has successfully created an additional coach from available spare coaches.

This initiative aims to ensure that the train, which has been a source of frustration for passengers due to frequent tardiness, will now depart punctually from Pune.

Passengers traveling on the Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express (12130) have experienced delays for several months, primarily caused by operational challenges.

The train currently operates with four coaches, yet delays in arrival times at Pune railway station have become common.

The absence of an additional coach has been particularly problematic; when the train from Howrah encountered delays, it resulted in the Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express (12129) departing late, further inconveniencing travelers.

In response to ongoing passenger complaints, the Pune railway division collaborated with the headquarters operations department to develop an additional coach specifically for this route.
