Pimpri: It has come to light that Puja Khedkar, an IAS trainee officer, obtained a disability certificate from Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation in 2022. Records of the certificate were found in the hospital.
Puja Khedkar has been a topic of discussion for various reasons. There are suspicions regarding the authenticity of her certificates, which she used to gain entry into the Indian Administrative Service.
She had previously obtained a visual disability certificate in 2018 and a mental illness certificate in 2020 from a government hospital in Ahmednagar.
These were consolidated into a single certificate in 2021. Now, it has been revealed that Khedkar also acquired a disability certificate from YCM Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad in 2022.
Dr. Rajendra Wable, the Dean of YCM Hospital, confirmed that Khedkar was issued a disability certificate in 2022. He stated that an investigation is underway to verify the criteria under which this certificate was issued.
The elusive medical examination documents of IAS officer Puja Khedkar, who has been at the center of a controversy, have been discovered at the Ahmednagar District Government Hospital.
These documents will be presented in an upcoming meeting at the District Collector's office, which will include the District Surgeon, the District Collector, and the Superintendent of Police, according to District Surgeon Sanjay Ghogare.
Khedkar had allegedly used a fake disability certificate to clear the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam and secure her government job.
It has been reported that the selection committee of the commission summoned Puja Khedkar for medical examinations at Delhi's AIIMS hospital six times, but she repeatedly avoided these tests.
