Pune: In an effort to enhance educational resources, Pune-based IT company Icertis donated seven computers and three laptops to the District Council’s Primary School in Gokawadi, Bhor Taluka, for the establishment of an Information Technology (IT) lab.

The IT equipments was officially handed over by Nitin Pawar from Icertis during a special program held at the school on October 18.

The equipment was received by Block Education Officer Prabhavati Kothawale and Headmistress Usha Gorad.

Several other key figures attended the event, including assistant teachers Khandoba Gholap, Madhuri Khapate, and Ratnamala Thopte, as well as Icertis representatives Kaushik Rasal, Devesh Jagatram, Sachin Kamat, Shilpa Kharde, Tejas Tambe, Sharath Sanketi, Sarika Joshi, and Mahesh Salunke. Students and parents also participated in the program.

Prabhavati Kothawale emphasized that the IT equipment would significantly benefit the 40 students, up to the 7th grade, currently enrolled in the school by improving their educational quality.

She expressed optimism that the new technology would provide a strong foundation for the students' learning journey.

Icertis officials commended the students for their proficiency in English, stating that they were pleased to have donated the equipment to a school that could make the most out of it.

Recently, Mindspace Business Parks REIT supported vital infrastructure upgrades at Yerawada Central Jail in Pune through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community engagement initiatives.

The initiative, which addresses critical infrastructure needs for both the jail’s staff and its 6,500 inmates, includes the development of key facilities aimed at improving healthcare, sanitation, and emergency services.
