The awards will be presented by Shekhar Gaikwad, Additional Director General of YASHADA, in the presence of PMC Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosale.

The Ideal Teacher Awards, a significant part of PMC’s efforts to promote excellence in education, acknowledge the dedication and innovative teaching methods adopted by educators across Pune.

This year, the Education Department received applications from 90 teachers, competing for the coveted honor. A rigorous selection process ensued, wherein the committee evaluated the candidates based on state government guidelines, scrutinizing their documents, conducting interviews, and visiting classrooms to assess their teaching impact.

Finally, 15 deserving teachers were selected for the award. These teachers will receive a citation, a memento, and a tablet during the ceremony. Among the awardees, several educators from PMC schools as well as private institutions have been chosen.
