Pune: A total of 38 candidates have submitted 52 nomination forms for the upcoming Indapur Assembly Election 2024, according to Election Officer Kalyan Pandhare. The final day for filing nominations saw a surge, with 18 candidates submitting 22 forms on Tuesday (October 30) alone.
Among the key candidates, Praveen Dashrath Mane (Independent), Harshvardhan Shahaji Rao Patil (NCP Sharadchandra Pawar), and Dattatraya Vithoba Bharne (NCP) each submitted four nominations.
The large pool of candidates includes independents as well as those representing various parties such as the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi, Bahujan Samaj Party, Bharatiya Jansamrat Party, Hindustan Janata Party, Swarajya Nirman Sena, Rashtriya Samaj Party, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
Notable entries include Adv. Girish Madan Patil (Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi) with two nominations, Sagaji Mohan Kamble, Nishikant Rajanikant Torne, Aniruddha Rajendra Madane, and several other independents, highlighting the high interest in the Indapur Assembly seat.
Other notable candidates include Vikas Bhimrao Gaikwad (Independent), Javed Bashir Sheikh (Independent), Tanaji Uttam Shingade (Rashtriya Samaj Party), Ankita Harshvardhan Patil with two nominations (NCP Sharadchandra Pawar faction) and
two as Independent, Bhagwan Bapu Khartode (Independent), Sanjay Bapu Chandanshive (Independent), Kisan Narayan Sangave (Independent), Pinel Balu Chavan (Independent), Amol Shivaji Devkate (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena),
Kalyani Sujitkumar Waghmode (Independent), Harshvardhan Shripati Patil (Independent), Dattatraya Sonba Bharne with two nominations (Independent), Sambhaji Madhukar Chavan (Independent), Satish Kaushalya Vitthal Jagtap (Independent),
