Indapur Congress Leader's Son Aditya Nimbalkar Dies in Accident

Pune: A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday, July 16, around 4 PM on the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Highway, near the Rui-Limtek route in Baramati, when a car's tire burst, leading to a severe crash.

The incident resulted in the death of a 22-year-old, Aditya Abasaheb Nimbalkar, son of a prominent Congress leader from Indapur.

According to sources, Aditya, son of Abasaheb Nimbalkar, the President of the Indapur Taluka Congress Party, was traveling from Sansar to Baramati via the Palkhi Highway when the accident occurred.

Eyewitnesses reported that Aditya was driving towards Baramati from Katewadi through the Rui route when his car’s tire burst, causing the vehicle to overturn and crash into a building's side.

Aditya sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The accident has plunged the local community into mourning, with residents of Sansar and Bhavaninagar expressing deep sorrow over the young man's untimely demise.

The exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Initial reports indicate that the car was traveling on the newly constructed Palkhi Highway between Limtek and Baramati near Ruipati when the tire burst, causing the vehicle to collide with a building.

The impact of the crash was devastating, leading to Aditya's immediate death and total destruction of the car. The sudden loss of Aditya Nimbalkar has cast a pall of gloom over the regions of Sansar and Bhavaninagar.

The development and four-lane expansion of palkhi routes of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj was done from central government funds of ₹3,750 crore in 2019.
