The government official said that India and China held 16 hours long military marathon in eastern Ladakh for the resolution of the ongoing border conflicts and the slimming of powers along the lines of actual control. The details of the meeting remain disclosed.

The ninth Corps Commander level dialogue was held at the Moldo Meeting point almost after two months from the last talks. The talks began at 10:30 am on Sunday and stopped at 2:30 am on Monday. Delegates from the Ministry of External Affairs also participated in the dialogue.

The Indian delegation was led by Lieutenant General, P.G.K. Menon, the Corps Commander of the HQ14 Corps in Leh. India has rescinded forces and withdrew them entirely from the disputed areas. The military commanders will convey the details of the meeting to the Prime Minister's office.

The eight-round of talks between China and India took place on 6 November. Despite the deadlock at the end of the discussions, both countries agreed to maintain dialogue and cooperation through military and diplomatic channels. Both the countries continue the discussions and press for resolution of other outstanding problems, in order to maintain stability and peace on the borders.
