Pune: IndiGo Airlines has officially announced the launch of a direct flight service between Pune and Bhopal, set to commence on October 27.

Pune to Bhopal: Departs at 1:00 PM, Arrives at 2:35 PM
Bhopal to Pune: Departs at 3:05 PM, Arrives at 4:50 PM
The airline's new route aims to enhance tourism and business exchanges between these two important cities. As part of its broader expansion strategy, IndiGo is also preparing to introduce flights from Pune to Indore, Chennai, and Raipur before Diwali.
Pune, often referred to as the "Oxford of the East," is one of Maharashtra’s key cities, known for its esteemed educational institutions and vibrant cultural history.
A blend of tradition and modernity, Pune offers lush green parks, historical monuments, and a wide range of culinary experiences. The city is also a major hub for the IT and automotive industries, drawing professionals from all over the country and serving as a base for several prominent vehicle manufacturers.
On the other hand, Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, boasts a perfect mix of historical significance and natural beauty. Known as the "City of Lakes," Bhopal is dotted with picturesque lakes and gardens, and its rich cultural tapestry includes architectural gems and Bharat Bhavan. It has become a favored destination for tourists with an interest in history and architecture.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Global Head of Sales, expressed his excitement about the new route. "We are thrilled to introduce daily flights connecting Pune and Bhopal starting October 27.
This initiative will strengthen the ties between Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and create new opportunities for tourism and trade. IndiGo remains committed to expanding its network with more new routes," said Malhotra.
