Pune: A notorious criminal who committed 28 crimes, including murder, while still a minor and an additional 14 crimes after becoming an adult in June 2024, has finally been arrested by the police. The criminal used money from various burglaries to purchase four pistols from Madhya Pradesh.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Sushil alias Barkya Bharat Gore (18, resident of Otaskim, Nigdi) and Akshay Prabhakar Kanse (22).

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Doiphode, the suspects created Instagram reels showing themselves brandishing pistols while riding motorcycles, leading to their arrest by the Anti-Robbery Squad.

The same suspects also used pistols to steal clothes forcibly from a store and committed several burglaries.

Sushil was arrested by the Anti-Robbery Squad along with two minors and an accomplice. The police confiscated gold and silver jewelry worth ₹10.75 lakh, eight two-wheelers, four pistols, and four live cartridges from them.

Four Pistols Seized

The Anti-Robbery Squad laid a trap and apprehended Sushil Gore and Akshay Kanse. The police recovered two pistols, two live cartridges, and four empty shells from them.

Subsequently, they detained their two minor accomplices, seizing two more pistols, two live cartridges, gold and silver jewelry weighing 18 tolas worth ₹10.75 lakh, and eight two-wheelers worth ₹4.85 lakh, totaling ₹17.62 lakh in assets.

This operation led to the solving of 14 crimes. Sushil Gore has 28 cases against him, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, vehicle theft, and housebreaking.
