Pune: A 26-year-old social media influencer Mayuri Chaitanya Modak-Pawar, has reportedly gone missing since June 15 from her residence in Pune. Mayuri has 1.3 million followers on Instagram. Mayuri has left a suicide note before leaving her home on June 15, the missing complaint filed with police states.

Mayuri's mother Mangal Dilip Pawar (40), a resident of Kumbharwada, near Poona Hospital, Sadashiv Peth, has filed a missing complaint in this regard at Vishrambaug police station. Mayuri was last seen at her home around 7 PM on June 15 and has not been heard from since. A few days before on June 9, Mayuri had also shared a post related to another social media influencer Sunny Jadhav, who was booked on charges of rape. Her last post was made on June 15.

Mayuri is popular as 'Maau' on social media platforms. Initially Mayuri was active on TikTok when she started building her social media presence. Mayuri amassed millions of followers on TikTok. After the central government banned TikTok, she transitioned to Instagram, where she continued to grow her following. In addition to her online presence, Mayuri has also launched a women empowerment initiative named 'Durga Group'.

Mayuri did not disclose any details before her disappearance. Vishrambag police are actively searching for her. Assistant Inspector Santosh More is leading the investigation. The police are urging anyone with information about Mayuri's whereabouts to come forward. The community and her followers are anxiously awaiting updates and hoping for her safe return.
