Jaipur Pink Panthers Win

Hyderabad: The Pro Kabaddi League 2024 saw a quality game between UP Yoddha and Jaipur Pink Panthers on Tuesday.

The two teams played a tight match at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Jaipur had to fight for the win despite two turnovers against UP.

Jaipur outshot UP 33-30 in a match that lasted till the last minute. For Jaipur, Neeraj Narwal (9), Arjun Deshwal (5), Reza Mirbagheri (5) and Surjit Singh (4) played well. Up's Bharat (7), Hitesh (5), Sumit (5), Ashu Singh (4) gave a good fight.

UP had a 14-13 lead, but they were leaning into Jaipur's favour in the moment. With 30 seconds left in the first half, two UP players made super tackles to give the team a 17-15 lead. UP scored one bonus point in the first 20 minutes of play with nine rebounds and seven rebounds. Jaipur won 8 climbs, 6 catches and 1 bonus point.

In the second half, UP appeared to be playing cautiously with three players, who wanted to avoid turnovers. Sumit and Hitesh both made super tackles and collected two points in UP's account.

Sumit made another super tackle to extend UP's lead to 21-17. In the first eight minutes of the second half, UP fought Jaipur by 2-3 players. UP failed in the climb, but appeared to make up for it by making a super tackle. In the 28th minute, Jaipur finally took the lead and levelled the match again at 22-22.

UP had a different strategy in this match and they again took a 25-22 lead. In the final 10 minutes, no one could guess whose side the match would tilt in. Jaipur led 27-26 with five minutes remaining.

Arjun Deshwal completed 1000 points in the history of Pro Kabaddi League today. Jaipur took a 3-point lead at 31-28 with 3:30 left in the match. With a minute and a half to play, UP trailed by just two points. Ankush Rathi took a strong catch of Surinder from the left corner to take Jaipur back to three points. Jaipur won the match 33-30.

U Mumba's win
U Mumba defeated Dabang Delhi 32-26 in their other match on Tuesday. Rohit Raghav, Manjit and Sunil Kumar, A Zafardanesh played well to help U Mumba beat Delhi.
