Kalyani Nagar Accident: Juvenile hosted lavish parties at two different clubs

Pune: The investigation into the Kalyani Nagar accident, where the 17-year-old boy allegedly caused the deaths of two people while driving his Porsche car under the influence of alcohol, has revealed that the juvenile had hosted lavish parties at two different clubs on the day of the accident. Each participant contributed ₹2,500 for the expenses, while the suspect teen paid the remaining ₹48,000, according to police findings.

The Crime Branch has interrogated 15 individuals who attended the parties with the minor suspect. During these interrogations, the attendees confirmed their contributions of ₹2,500 each.

Additionally, Dr. Ajay Taware, superintendent of the forensic department at Sassoon Hospital, along with nurses and other staff, were questioned regarding possible tampering with blood samples. Medical Superintendent Yellappa Jadhav's statement was also recorded on Wednesday (June 12) as part of the ongoing investigation.

In a related development, a video featuring vulgar language had gone viral on social media after the Kalyani Nagar accident. Initially rumored to be made by the underage driver, police investigations revealed that the video was actually created by Aryan, a resident of Delhi originally from Madhya Pradesh.

One Shubham Shinde was found to be responsible for making the video viral. Both Aryan and Shinde were issued notices by the police. In response, Aryan had criticized the Pune police on social media. Last week, Aryan appeared before the Cyber Police Station with his lawyers, where he was questioned and then released.
