Karan Mishra, through his lawyer Adv. Ameya Balkawade, applied for bail in the Sessions Court. No drugs were seized from Mishra, and he has no prior criminal record.

He is an engineer at a private company. Adv. Ameya Balkawade presented the case of Aryan Shah Rukh Khan from the Mumbai High Court as a reference in his argument.

Accepting this argument, Sessions Judge Dorle granted bail to Karan Mishra under certain conditions. Advocates Ameya Balkawade, Mayur Marathe, Rishikesh Kadu, Rohit Gujar, and Suraj Shinde represented the accused.

A group named 'Pune Vibes' was created on social media for the attendees of the L3 Bar party. A drug supplier from Pune had allegedly provided mephedrone to young individuals seen in the party video.
