Pune: The Khadakwasla Dam, which serves as a major water source for Pune and its suburbs, is currently at 85 per cent of its capacity as of Tuesday, July 23. Ongoing rainfall in the catchment area suggests that the water levels may continue to rise.

If the water levels increase further, there is a strong possibility that water will be released from the dam's spillway into the riverbed within the next 24 to 48 hours.
