Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Art Education has announced the schedule for the Government Drawing (Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade) exams, set to take place from September 25 to 28.
With the implementation of the Maharashtra State Board of Art Education Act for the 2024-25 academic year, these exams will now be overseen by the Government Drawing Examination Board. The revised curriculum, approved on February 16, 2015, will be in effect for this year’s exams.
Director Vinod Dandge has instructed all center heads to register students for only one of the two exams (Elementary or Intermediate). The registration of centers, student registrations, and payment of examination fees must be completed online through the official website.
Parents and students have been urged to adhere to this process. The deadline for student registration is August 31.
The Elementary Drawing Grade exam schedule:
September 25: Object Drawing from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Memory Drawing from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
September 26: Design and Decorative Work from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Geometry and Letter Writing from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
The Intermediate Drawing Grade exam schedule:
September 27: Still Life from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Memory Drawing from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
September 28: Design and Decorative Work from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Geometry, Solid Geometry, and Letter Writing from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
