MahaTransco Uses Drones to Inspect Chandrapur to Padgha Transmission Line

Pune: MahaTransco (Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company) has begun using drones to inspect and monitor the Chandrapur to Padgha transmission line, which passes through Junnar taluka via the Naneghat route.

This new initiative is aimed at enhancing the safety and operational efficiency of the high-voltage transmission towers in the area. The drone patrolling will be conducted regularly, with flights scheduled between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

According to Junnar Police Inspector Kiran Avchar, MahaTransco has officially notified the local police about the commencement of these operations, ensuring that all regulatory guidelines for drone use are strictly followed.

This advanced technology will allow for detailed surveillance of the transmission towers without causing any inconvenience to local residents, as noted by Additional Executive Engineer Jitendra Kharade in his communication with the police.
