The meeting was convened to discuss key political strategies and was attended by prominent leaders including Opposition Leader Vijay Wadettiwar, former Chief Ministers Sushilkumar Shinde and Prithviraj Chavan, along with Satej alias Bunty Patil, Praniti Shinde, and Pune City President Arvind Shinde.

As the meeting was underway, coordinators of the Maratha Kranti Morcha entered the premises and began chanting slogans, demanding clarity on the Congress party's stance regarding Maratha reservation.

The protesters specifically targeted State President Nana Patole, surrounding him and demanding a clear statement on how the party intends to address the reservation issue if they come to power.

In response to the protesters, Nana Patole criticized the BJP for failing to deliver on its promises to various communities over the past decade. He accused the BJP of creating divisions within society and labeled the current government as anti-reservation.

Patole assured the Maratha Kranti Morcha coordinators that if the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition returns to power, they will prioritize resolving the reservation issues for both the Maratha and OBC communities. He emphasized that this has been the consistent position of the Congress party.

This confrontation highlights the growing pressure on political parties to address the demands for Maratha reservation, as the movement gains momentum across Maharashtra.

The Maratha Kranti Morcha has been actively questioning leaders across party lines, demanding concrete assurances and actions regarding their long-standing demand for reservation.
