MIT-WPU RIDE-24: Prakash Bang Shares Five Pillars of Entrepreneurial Success

Pune: The inauguration of RIDE-24 (Research, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship) at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) witnessed the participation of over 50 startups and more than 5,000 students.

The event, organized to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, was marked by insightful speeches and valuable advice. Renowned entrepreneur, author, and marketing strategist Prakash Bang, who served as the chief guest, delivered an inspiring address.

He emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, maintaining focus, honing communication skills, managing time effectively, seizing opportunities, and being ready to work hard as the five key principles to succeed in entrepreneurship.

Bang also highlighted the value of learning multiple languages in addition to one’s mother tongue, stressing that strong communication skills can open up numerous opportunities.

He urged students to adopt a positive mindset and follow the five principles to achieve success in both entrepreneurship and business.

Colonel Asit Nath from C-DAC, the special guest at the event, discussed the challenges businesses face due to technological advancements, particularly the rise of Artificial Intelligence. He encouraged students to consider how this technology can be harnessed for the benefit of the country.

MIT-WPU Vice-Chancellor Dr. R.M. Chitnis spoke about the significance of the RIDE program in shaping students’ professional careers. He encouraged students to take the initiative to start their own ventures.

The event also featured a welcome address by Prof. Neeraj Mahindroo, who introduced the program and its objectives. Dr. Sanjay Kamtekar provided an overview of RIDE, while Prof. Dr. Gautam Bapat managed the proceedings.
