Pune: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray is on a visit to Pune today. He is touring the city to assess the situation following the heavy rains.

During this visit, Raj Thackeray criticized the government and administration, questioning the effectiveness of such governance. "Is this the kind of governance we want?" he asked directly while speaking to the media.

Raj Thackeray commented on the state of Pune, saying, "Pune is no longer a single city; it has become four cities. Without elected representatives, who will take responsibility? You provide free housing to people from other states while making the local people beg.

Does anyone care about the state?" He also took a jab at Ajit Pawar, remarking that despite having two Deputy Chief Ministers, including one from Pune, the city still faces flood issues in their absence.

Thackeray announced that he would hold a meeting in Mumbai to discuss these issues further. "You will get information about it. People from Panvel and Thane are brought to Pune for cleaning. Suspending officers will not solve the problem. Who is responsible for the upcoming diseases? There seems to be collusion between municipal and government officers," he said.

Thackeray also criticized Sharad Pawar, saying, "Sharad Pawar should not contribute to making Maharashtra like Manipur," referring to a statement made by Sharad Pawar about the state's situation.

He further emphasized the need for law enforcement, stating, "Until there is fear of the law, nothing will change. In Kalyaninagar, a major accident happened. Who knows what is happening to the parents of the victims today?

In Mumbai, traffic constables are attacked and the culprits escape. If the police are not safe, then what? What is happening in Maharashtra is unfortunate, and politicians need to think about this," Thackeray concluded.
