Pune: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) organized a Typing Skills Test today (July 8) in Mumbai. However, heavy rainfall in the city has disrupted the exam schedule, prompting MPSC to take immediate measures.
Candidates from across the state have arrived in Mumbai for the Typing Skills Test, which is being conducted in four sessions. The heavy rains in Mumbai have affected the planning and execution of the exam. As a result, MPSC has announced adjustments to the schedule via their official social media account.
Due to the disruption of railway and other transport services caused by the heavy rains, the MPSC has decided to start all four sessions of the Typing Skills Test 45 minutes later than originally scheduled on July 8, 2023.
Additionally, the final entry time for candidates at each exam center has been extended by 45 minutes. MPSC has advised all candidates to take note of these changes.
This adjustment follows a recent confusion surrounding the same exam. The Maharashtra Group-C Services Main Exam-2023, which included the Typist and Tax Assistant Typing Skills Test, faced technical issues on the first day, leading to the cancellation of exams scheduled from July 1 to 3.
