New Delhi: As cases of novel coronavirus are on the rise again, the central government declared a set of new guidelines. Wearing of face mask and maintaining social distancing is compulsory for people visiting malls, restaurants and religious places, said Centre on Thursday.
The central government said that adequate manpower should be arranged in shopping malls for ensuring social distance norms and all employees with higher risks should take extra precautions.
The Centre in its guidelines for religious places said the entrance will have mandatory hand hygiene and thermal screening process. It also added that only asymptomatic people will be permitted to enter religious places.
GUIDELINES FOR SHOPPING MALLS
· Adequate manpower to be arranged at malls for ensuring social distance rules
· All employees with higher risks to take extra care. They should not be exposed to front-line work requiring direct contact with the public.
· There should be separate entry and exit for visitors, workers and goods and supplies.
GUIDELINES FOR RELIGIOUS PLACES
· Entrance to have compulsory hand hygiene and thermal screening procedure.
· Only asymptomatic people will be permitted to enter.
· People without face mask will not be permitted to visit.
· Posters on preventive measures about COVID to be displayed in the premises
GUIDELINES FOR RESTAURANTS
· Encourage takeaways or parcels instead of dine-in.
· Thermal screening of home delivery staff prior to permitting them for home deliveries.
· Crowd management in parking lots and outside the premises accordingly to follow social distancing norms.
· Maintaining physical distance while queuing up for entry and inside the restaurant.
