Pune: Inspired by her father's military service and determined to achieve her own dreams, Nikita Pachangane from Katraj has successfully become a sub-inspector.
Despite studying in a municipal school, Nikita's achievement is being celebrated throughout the Katraj area.
Her love for the uniform, akin to her father's, motivated her to establish her own identity and strive for success. She decided to appear for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exams and began her preparation accordingly.
Nikita completed her primary education at a municipal school in Katraj, secondary education at a municipal school in Shukrawar Peth, and graduated in science from Abasaheb Garware College.
She then started preparing for competitive exams. Despite failing in 2020, she continued her efforts with determination.
In 2021, she passed the preliminary exam but did not succeed in the main exam. However, in 2022, she achieved significant success in both the state service and the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) preliminary exams.
Nikita's father, Jalindar Pachangane, never let financial difficulties affect her. Her brother, Vaibhav Pachangane, a teacher, provided valuable guidance.
Her mother, Padmavati Pachangane, managed household responsibilities, allowing Nikita to focus on her studies. Staying mentally stable and focused was her real struggle.
She overcame the challenges of staying away from friends and social media, and instead developed a strong bond with her books, ultimately achieving the police sub-inspector position.
