Pune: MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU) hosted the the 1st National Scientists Round Table Conference (NSRTC 2024).

NSRTC 2024 aims to convene leading academicians, scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange insights and research findings across Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering & Technology.

Focused on critical themes like AI, Quantum Technology, Sustainability, Healthcare and more, the conference aims to stimulate innovative ideas, particularly among young researchers, fostering interdisciplinary and global collaborations for new discoveries and sustainable development.

Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Former Director General, CSIR, New Delhi, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the conference's pivotal role in fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and advancing frontier technologies.

Ganpati Yadav, Former Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology said, "This gathering of brilliant minds across various scientific fields underscores the vital role of interdisciplinary collaboration in driving our nation’s progress.

As we navigate the complexities of the 21st century, it is imperative that we leverage cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing and Advanced Materials to address global challenges and enhance the quality of life for our citizens. Government must promote university research and for that India should share policy."

Vishwanath Karad, Founder President, MITWPU said, “NSRTC 2024 marks a significant milestone in our journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047. By bringing together diverse scientific minds and innovative ideas, we aim to shape a brighter future for the nation.

I truly believe that India has the potential to emerge as a global leader through the adoption of the 4D’s among our citizens i.e. Discipline, Dedication, Devotion, and Decorum.”
