Pune: An auto rickshaw driver was caught on video violently attacking a car and threatening its driver. The incident occurred near Rakshak Chowk, just outside the gates of the Aundh Military Station on the evening of September 27.

According to sources, the car driver was en route from Punawale to Kharadi to pick up his wife when he attempted to overtake an auto rickshaw on Aundh Road.

This move apparently infuriated the auto driver, who began hurling abuses at the car driver. The situation quickly escalated when the auto driver aggressively approached the car, demanded that the driver roll down his window, and then attempted to assault him.

The car driver, shaken by the encounter, lodged a formal complaint with the Sangvi Police Station. Despite the complaint and the availability of video evidence, allegedly, no action has been taken against the auto driver as of yet.

The video, which has since gone viral on social media, has sparked widespread outrage among netizens. Many individuals have shared their own experiences of dealing with aggressive auto rickshaw drivers, with several pointing out that such behavior seems to be on the rise.
