Pune: In a remarkable display of solidarity, the Thane, Panvel, and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporations have swiftly mobilized teams to support Pune in its cleanliness efforts.
These teams, comprising a significant number of officials and sanitation workers, have brought a much-needed boost to the ongoing cleanup operations in Pune.
Under the guidance of Thane Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao, a team has been dispatched, including Deputy Commissioner G.G. Godapure, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tushar Pawar, along with the Chief Health Inspector, four Deputy Chief Sanitation Inspectors, 14 Sanitation Inspectors, 12 Sanitation Supervisors, 256 personnel, and 25 spraying staff.
Additionally, the Thane Municipal Corporation has sent 200 brooms, 500 shovels, 50 brushes, 25 prongs, 300 masks, 300 hand gloves, four jetting machines, 10 spray pumps, five fogging machines, and 20 bags of 25 kg each of disinfectant powder.
Under the guidance of Commissioner Mangesh Chitale, a separate team from the Panvel Municipal Corporation has also been dispatched, including Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vaibhav Vidhate, one Chief Health Inspector, six Sanitation Inspectors, 10 Sanitation Supervisors, 250 personnel, and 30 spraying staff.
They have also sent 300 masks, 300 gloves, 10 spray pumps, five fogging machines, and 1000 kg of disinfectant powder.
Under the guidance of Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, a team from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has also been dispatched, including Deputy Commissioner Dr. Ajay Gadade, one Chief Sanitation Officer, one Sanitation Officer, four Sanitation Inspectors, 90 cleaning staff, and personnel.
They have sent 100 masks, 100 gloves, 50 prongs, shovels, fogging machines, and 300 kg of disinfectant powder.
