According to the police, the incident occurred on Thursday evening around 6:30 PM near the Ganesh Temple in Bhalekar Vasti, where the complainant was standing and talking on the phone.

Yash then pulled out a machete and attempted to kill the complainant. When the complainant raised his hand to defend himself, the machete struck his left hand.
