Pune to Host Public Policy Festival Centered on India’s $10 Trillion Economy Vision

Pune: The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune is set to host the annual 'Pune Public Policy Festival' (PPPF) on January 11th and 12th, 2025.

This year’s festival will revolve around the theme of "India's Vision of a 10 Trillion Dollar Economy in the Near Future." The event aims to facilitate discussions on strategic public policy topics in the social sector, with the objective of benefiting society through these dialogues.

The festival, organized by young experts and entrepreneurs from Pune, aims to build on the city’s long-standing contribution to national and international policy discussions.

The event will serve as a platform for thought leaders, policymakers, academics, and professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue on the economic future of India.

Last year’s festival was met with great enthusiasm, drawing participants from 12 cities across the country. The event was attended by students, researchers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and policy professionals, reflecting the diverse interest in public policy.

Notable attendees from last year’s festival included Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Petroleum and Natural Gas; Dr. Shamika Ravi, Member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council;
