Pune: Hadapsar police have detained three minor boys on charges of creating fake nude images of three minor girls from a renowned school from Hadapsar area.
The three suspects allegedly used the AI bot image generator application for this purpose. The boys also posted these photos on social media which have reportedly went viral.
A 36-year-old woman has lodged a complaint in this regard at Hadapsar police station. According to this complaint, the incident took place between June 16 to 30, 2024. Based on this information, police have detained the minor boys. Police have registered a case of molestation in this regard.
Hadapsar police stated that the complainant's daughter studies at the school in Hadapsar area. One of the suspects, a 16-year-old boy, created nude fake photos of her daughter as well as three other girls.
The suspect shared these images on the Instagram social media account of his two other friends. The suspects friends, further shared these image on Instagram, which went viral. Police Inspector Jagdale is investigating the case.
In another incident reported from Khadki area, a security guard at a housing society allegedly molested a 9-year-old girl who was waiting for her school van at the society gate.
The suspect has been identified as Ashish Rawat (49), a resident of Aundh Road, Khadki. A 42-year-old woman has lodged a complaint in this regard at Khadki police station.
The incident took place on Wednesday (August 14) morning 6.30am. The suspect reportedly lured the girl on the pretext of showing her the kitchen. Police Sub-Inspector Dighe is investigating the case.
