‘Ram Krishna Hari’ Resonates in Malaysia with Sant Namdev Maharaj Procession

More than 25 devotees will be presented with Sant Namdev Gatha scriptures. Chant of ‘Ram Krishna Hari’ will echo for three days in Malaysia.

Pune: The Samadhi ceremony of Sant Namdev Maharaj, renowned for spreading the Bhakti movement to Punjab in the 12th century, is set to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The procession of Sant Namdev Maharaj will depart from Mumbai to Malaysia on Sunday (July 28), where the chant of ‘Ram Krishna Hari’ will echo for three days.

Starting from Narsi Namdev in Hingoli on Sunday, the procession will visit the living Samadhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj in Alandi on Monday (July 29), before heading to Kuala Lumpur from Mumbai airport. The procession will reach Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (July 30), where a series of events are organized at the Kartik Swami Temple.

The holy feet (Paduka) of Sant Namdev Maharaj will be worshipped on August 1 and 2, accompanied by an Abhishek ceremony. Swami Bharatanand Saraswati Maharaj from Alandi will deliver a kirtan, and bhajan performances will be conducted by Jagdish Chavan, Rameshwar Dange, and Gayatri Gaikwad.

More than twenty-five devotees will be presented with the Sant Namdev Gatha scriptures, according to Deepak Chavan, vice president of Bhaktipath Seva Foundation, Alandi.

The entire event is organized by the foundation's founding president Sheshaji Maharaj, vice president Deepak Chavan, secretary Hanuman Ghongde, and advisor Advocate Nilesh Andhale.

The global pilgrimage procession aims to spread the teachings of great saints to 51 countries. Devotees from various regions of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, as well as local Marathi devotees from Malaysia, will participate in the procession.
