Record Break Vehicles Sales in Chowphula
Kedgaon: The turnover in the auto industry in Chauphula (Daund) continued to increase this year. During Dussehra and Diwali, the turnover from vehicle sales of various companies was Rs 54.80 crore.
This is considered to be the record turnover so far. The number of farmers remained high in vehicle purchases.
Chauphula is known as an auto hub in Pune district. According to this adjective, vehicle sales have taken millions of flights. Even automakers did not expect the market to boom to rs 55 crore.
The town has showrooms of Hero, Bajaj, TVS, Honda, Bullet. As many as 1,648 two-wheelers have been sold from these showrooms. Hero sold 1,200 two-wheelers.
The tractor segment has mahindra, jan deere, swaraj, eicher, sonalika, powertrack. This year, farmers were excited about buying tractors. A total of 283 tractors were sold from all the companies. Four backloaders were sold.
Tata and Mahindra have offices in commercial vehicles and cars in Chowphuli. The stores sold 80 vehicles. The electric bike received a good response. Commercial Development Sathe said ploughs and rotaveters worth Rs 40 lakh were sold.
Businessman Azam Shaikh said the accessories, tapping, number plates, necklaces, coconuts, pedas, cushions and hotels businesses that complement the business continued to grow due to a huge turnover in vehicle purchases.
With offices of various financial companies in Chauphula, loans were easily available to customers. Said Ashish Tamhane of a financial institution. There was a market boom in vehicle purchases this year.
