Pune: Students pursuing BA LLB at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) are in a state of distress as the revaluation results for the second semester, held in June, have not yet been declared.
Despite the announcement of the regular exam results in July, those who applied for revaluation are still waiting for their updated scores. This delay has further compounded their problems, as it is preventing them from submitting their exam forms for the upcoming third semester.
Starting from October 9, the university is opening the application process for the internal exams of the third semester. However, without the revaluation results, students are uncertain about how to proceed.
Frustrated by the delays, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a "night vigil" protest at the examination department, demanding prompt action from the university.
The confusion has deepened as the university has altered the deadline for submitting exam forms, leaving students unsure about the process. Furthermore, concerns have been raised regarding the refund of excess fees paid by students.
If the revaluation results are announced after the deadline, students are questioning when they will be reimbursed for the additional fees they may have already paid for third semester applications.
The ABVP has urged the university administration to take immediate action and release the revaluation results without further delay. The student group has warned that if their demands are not met, they will intensify their protests in the coming days.
